Mark has been actively engaged in the valuation of real estate since 1974, having experience in the valuation of all forms of real estate throughout Victoria including appearances as an expert witness in the County Court, Supreme Court and VCAT.
Mark has been appointed by the President of the Australian Property Institute as an expert and determining Valuer in a number of lease and rental disputes.
Mark has undertaken valuation assessments for compensation purposes in all facets of Metropolitan Real Estate Valuation.
Mark specialises in carrying out the valuation of development land including residential, commercial and industrial categories of property. Mark also provides extensive research consultancy to a number of developers in the pre purchase and marketing of residential estates.
Mark has been engaged as a specialist guest lecturer to the valuation property degree courses at Melbourne University and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology lecturing on the methods of valuation for englobo / development land. Mark has also presented to the Municipal Valuation Group and API, lecturing on the topics including englobo land holdings, compensation and acquisition and GST. Mark is a member of the examiners panel of the Australian Property Institute.
Mark has extensive experience in the provision of advice on the re-negotiation of major Government Crown Leases and redevelopment projects including the Hepburn Spa Redevelopment, the St Kilda Sea Baths Redevelopment and the Luna Park lease.
